City Commissioner Denise Kolpack announces her run for mayor of Fargo

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Fargo City Commissioner Denise Kolpack announces her run for mayor of Fargo.
She has served as deputy mayor since 2022 and is a liaison for multiple city departments.
For her campaign, Kolpack says she wants to focus on four pillars that will transition how the city commission is viewed.
They are public safety, open budgets, being transparent, and leading a more professional team.
With the backing of Local 642 Fargo Firefighters, Kolpack believes she is the best person for the job.
“It’s one of the purest forms of public service is serving those with whom you live and knowing people and knowing what they care about and then really trying to solve problems to make people’s lives better,” said Kolpack.
Kolpack and her team are currently collecting signatures to get on the ballot.
If she’s elected, she’ll be Fargo’s first female mayor.
