Taco John’s makes a comeback in Fargo

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — The long wait for local Taco John’s fans is over. The restaurant chain has officially returned to Fargo.
Many people stopped by the re-opening of the 45th Street South location to welcome Taco John’s back to the metro.
This is the first one to open in the metro since the last Taco John’s closed in 2023.
Customers filled the parking lot as well as the drive through to get a taste of the restaurant’s famous potato oles.
Pentex Restaurant Group is behind the brand’s Fargo comeback.
“Some of our guests are traveling far and wide just to experience that Taco John’s again. So it’s good to just bring it back to the community,” says Donzell Brown with Pentex Restaurant Group.
Plans for a second Taco John’s are already in the works at 2253 University Drive South in Fargo.
The company has already announced plans for additional locations in the future.
