MN Republican House members prepare articles of impeachment against Gov. Tim Walz

ST. PAUL (KVRR/FOX9) – – Minnesota House Republicans are set to introduce articles of impeachment against Gov. Tim Walz this upcoming legislative session.
Rep. Mike Wiener of Long Prairie, Minnesota shared with FOX 9 in the Twin Cities the impending articles of impeachment drafted by Minnesota House Research Department.
They accuse Walz of violating his constitutional oath of office by concealing or permitting widespread fraud, breaching public trust and failing to execute the laws of the state.
The session starts February 17.
If the articles to remove Walz pass in the House, it would need a two-thirds vote in the Senate which is in Democrat control.
