Soup fundraiser at Bethany Living brings comfort food for residents
FARGO — Residents and members of the public were invited to Bethany Retirement Living for a lunch of savory soups and chili.
The Bethany Auxiliary team put on its annual Soup of the Day fundraiser.
They had around twenty different soups including taco, chicken and wild rice along with chili.
The members of the auxiliary each submitted their own soup to share.
Funds from the soup sold goes back to future events and provides supplies for the residents at Bethany.
“We’d love to see the public come in. Usually we get some families come in of current residents, but we would like to see everybody come in because we certainly usually have enough food for everyone,” said volunteer Carol Johnson.
Bethany on 42nd will be hosting another Soup of the Day event next Thursday.
