MINNEAPOLIS (KVRR/FOX9) — Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem says arrests will be made “in the next several hours” after protesters disrupted a church service on Sunday in St. Paul.

Activists accused the pastor of have having ties to I.C.E.

Noem told Newsmax on Tuesday night that those activists will be held accountable.

She says people will be brought to justice for how they violated the law in that situation.

Twin Cities community members and activists gathered at Hennepin County Government Center on Tuesday to call for the resignation of the pastor.

Officials with Cities Church issued a statement that said, in part, “Invading a church service to disrupt the worship of Jesus – or any other act of worship – is protected by neither the Christian Scriptures nor the laws of this nation.”

Then ended by saying that they are evaluating the next steps with their legal counsel.
