Former Congressman Rick Berg will serve as NDSU’s Interim President

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — The State Board of Higher Education chooses Rick Berg to serve as Interim President for North Dakota State University.

He will take over for President David Cook who is taking a position in Iowa.

Berg served for many years in the North Dakota House of Representatives and later in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Berg earned a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics from NDSU.

He will start the role on February 9.
