Man Arrested in North Fargo Shooting
The victim did not provide any details of who had shot them or why, but a witness to the incident provided information that led to the arrest.

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – A Fargo man is in custody after authorities were contacted by a witness to a shooting in North Fargo.
The situation began just after 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 24, when a man arrived at a local medical facility for treatment of a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
The victim told police officers that when he was leaving a residence in North Fargo, he heard a “pop” and realized he had been shot. He did not provide any further information regarding who may have shot him or where the incident might have taken place.
A witness then reached out to the department and informed them that the shooting happened inside a residence in the 1500 block of 10th Street North and that the victim and the shooter were known to each other.
Following this information, investigators obtained a warrant and served it at the 10th Street location around 8:00 P.M. on the 24th. 50-year-old Odus Maxwell of Fargo was arrested without incident and charged with aggravated assault. He is currently being held in the Cass County Jail.
