Man arrives at Grand Forks hospital with severe cuts; investigation underway

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KVRR) — A person in Grand Forks showed up at the hospital with severe cuts to his head and arm.

Grand Forks Police say the victim was brought to Altru by an unknown passerby early Sunday morning.

The victim stated that he was assaulted with an edged weapon by a random man south of the hospital.

Officers investigated several possible locations stated by the victim but no evidence was found.

Police say the victim has been treated and released from the hospital.
