Fergus Falls restaurant re-opens following ICE-related closure

FERGUS FALLS, Minn. (KVRR-KFGO) – A Mexican restaurant in downtown Fergus Falls that closed earlier this month is open again with a second location in Detroit Lakes reopening Thursday.
Don Pablo’s initially said the closures were due to “unforeseen circumstances.” Later, management admitted it was the result of reported Immigration and Customs Enforcement activity in the Fergus Falls, Detroit Lakes and Pelican Rapids areas.
Don Pablo’s in Fergus Falls resumed service on Saturday, according a post shared by the Fergus Falls Chamber of Commerce.
The Detroit Lakes location will be open again Thursday.
