Crews respond to 2 fire calls within a half-hour of each other

FARGO (KVRR-KFGO) – The Fargo Fire Department responded to two fires a half-hour apart Thursday afternoon.
The first fire was reported around 3:50 p.m. at 1710 20th Avenue S. There, firefighters saw smoke coming from the eaves of the attached garage and extinguished a small fire inside the garage. Damage was contained to the garage area.
The second call came in around 4:20 p.m. when someone reported a dumpster next to a house on fire. When firefighters arrived, the dumpster was fully engulfed in flames. Crews put the fire out before it extended to the house. Damage was contained to the dumpster.
There were no injuries at either location.
