Local sports bar raises funds for Golden Drive Homeless Kids

FARGO — As part of the various fundraising opportunities for the big event, the restaurant is giving back to Golden Drive For Homeless Kids.
Hearts are posted on the walls with names of people who have already made a donation.
Adding onto the donations from their customers, one employee is raising $3,000 to add to the final total.
“We came up with the idea that we would give out a heart that you could put somebody that you cared about on it or your own name and we put it up. And that way we would be able to tell if – to see the goal that we were going towards or to see what our community could do,” said Pepper’s bartender Kaylin Beck.
“We just couldn’t be more thankful for Peppers and for our great community. Our great, great supporters that make this happen,” said Golden Drive Homeless Kids founder Sue Baron.
Donations are still being accepted until Giving Hearts Day on Feb. 12.
