FERGUS FALLS, Minn. (KFGO/KBRF) – A former Fergus Falls doctor has been accused of sexually assaulting high school hockey players in Otter Tail County, Minnesota.Prosecutors say the “hockey doc,” 69-year-old Zvi Levran made sexual contact with at least two underage hockey players, claiming it was for a medical purpose.

The reported sexual assaults happened between 2014 and 2016. Investigators say victims contacted law enforcement after Levran was convicted last year of 28 charges of sexual misconduct from four cases in Michigan. A judge sentenced him to 10-25 years in prison.

Oakland County Circuit Court Judge Jasmine Poles exceeded the sentence guidelines and gave Levran the maximum sentence under Michigan law on almost all of the charges.

Levran practiced Pediatric and Family Urology at Lake Region Healthcare from 2011 to 2018.

He is charged with two counts of 3rd degree criminal sexual conduct and four counts of 4th degree criminal sexual conduct.

Levran is set to make his first court appearance in Otter Tail County on Monday, Feb. 9.
