FARGO, N.D. — The Fargo Air Museum is making Valentine’s cards for veterans ahead of the holiday.

People were invited to come to the museum to make a Valentine’s card for veterans to show their appreciation and support.

The cards range from the creative to the sentimental and have words of encouragement.

This is the first year the museum has held the event and they hope to expand in the coming years.

Around seventy to ninety veterans are expected to attend.

The cards will be distributed to veterans on Wednesday during their weekly coffee hour.

“The biggest thing I think that they always want to hear is thank you. They did a lot, they served, they sacrificed a lot to serve our country and being able to show our appreciation for them is huge,” said Madisen Anderson, the marketing and operations coordinator at the Fargo Air Museum.

Any extra cards will be delivered to veterans around the community.
