Landon’s Light bringing families together on Giving Hearts Day
Fargo, N.D. (KVRR) – This Giving Hearts Day, Landon’s Light is asking for your help to support children and their families battling serious illness.
One month after Landon Solberg died in October of 2017, his family started Landon’s Light to help make sure that children battling illness never felt alone.
And in the years since the organization has expanded, putting together community events and helping spread kindness and compassion throughout the community.
“You get to a point in a journey where maybe you feel alone, and you’re in the hospital. And we are there to help provide support, not only to the sick child, but also to the siblings and the family. We bring them into our Landon’s Light family, and we shine our light on them, letting them know they’re not alone on this, and we are there for them.”
Landon would have graduated from high school this year. To help out Landon’s Light, you can find a link to their Giving Hearts Day page here.
