Altru offers Nurse Advice Line for patients with potential cases of measles
GRAND FORKS, N.D. — Altru Health System is encouraging people who believe they may have measles, or people who may have been exposed, to call the Altru Nurse Advice Line at 701-780-6358 before seeking in-person care.
Altru says this step “helps ensure safe, coordinated care and limits potential exposure to others.”
Altru says symptoms of measles include:
- Fever
- Rash
- Cough
- Runny Nose
- Red, watery eyes
The Nurse Advice Line is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. According to Altru, the advice line offers expert guidance and support to help patients figure out what their next steps in care should be.
