Sports reporter Jessie Pierce, 3 kids and dog killed in house fire in White Bear Lake, MN

WHITE BEAR LAKE, Minn. (KVRR/FOX9) — Jessi Pierce, a sports reporter who covered the Minnesota Wild, died along with her three kids and their dog in a house fire on Saturday.
The Wild issuing a statement that says, in part, “Jessi was a kind, compassionate person that cared deeply about her family and those around her. She served as a dedicated ambassador for the game of hockey during her time covering the Wild and the NHL.”
Investigators are trying to determine the cause of the fire in White Bear Lake, northeast of Minneapolis.
Neighbors say they saw flames shooting through the roof of the house early Saturday morning and when firefighters arrived the house was fully engulfed.
Crews got the fire out and then discovered the bodies inside.
