West Fargo Wrestling’s Jordan Shearer Wins High School Excellence Award

West Fargo wrestler Jordan Shearer had a tremendous season, and added to that today when he was named the North Dakota recipient of the Dave Schultz High School Excellence Award.

According to the National Wrestling Hall of Fame, the award is based on wrestling, scholastic achievement, citizenship, and community service.

Shearer, a senior at West Fargo, joins 48 of his peers from states around the country in winning the award. He finished his wrestling career with six individual state championships, a new N.D. record. He will wrestle at Nebraska next season.
