Counterfeit Money Alert

Businesses are being warned to watch out for counterfeit money.
 
In the past week, more than a dozen fake bills have turned up in the metro.

They look and feel real because they are actually “washed” $5 bills transformed into $100 bills.

Fargo police say the investigation is making “headway” and the case should be solved quickly.
