After setback, sleigh rides back on at M.B. Johnson Park
MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR) – Despite being impacted by the freezing rain, sleigh rides are back on at M.B. Johnson Park in Moorhead. People are able to get out and enjoy the slightly warmer winter weather riding in a carriage being pulled by Clydesdales.
They are also able to enjoy some hot chocolate and cookies inside.
“Tuesday was canceled, thankfully it was at the start of sleigh rides,” said Josie Gereszek, the recreation coordinator for the city of Moorhead. “We were able to reschedule a lot of them and offer refunds accordingly as needed. It’s been great to at least get three of the four days in action here at the park.”
The sleigh rides are set to finish up tomorrow with the last rides at 4 p.m.
