UND’s Jackson Blake to make NHL debut

RALEIGH, NC (KVRR) – A UND hockey player is set to make his NHL debut on Tuesday for the Carolina Hurricanes. Jackson Blake, who was a 2024 Hobey Baker Award finalist, will suit up for the Canes as they take on the Columbus Blue Jackets on the road.

The announcement was made by Head Coach Rod Brind’Amour. Blake finished his season for UND with 22 points and 38 assists for 60 points. The Canes are currently 52-22-7 with 111 points and have locked in a playoff spot.
