Mund hosts “Coffee with Cara” event in Fargo
FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — North Dakota U.S. House candidate Cara Mund visited with voters in Fargo on Saturday.
Mund was at Atomic Coffee in downtown Fargo to hear voters concerns and share her message.
She shared her message about the importance of government transparency, and reaffirmed her commitment to women’s reproductive rights.
Mund said she got into the race because she couldn’t see herself voting for any of the other candidates in the republican primary.
“I saw leading up to the convention, the candidates continuously moving further to the right. And that’s what they were going to do. I saw them caving to Trump, they were all promoting Trump. I’m promoting democracy, and so as they kept moving right we needed that voice, and we needed that opinion.”
Mund will face-off against Julie Fedorchak, Alex Balazs, Rick Becker, and Sharlet Mohr in the June 11th Primary.
