Second suspect arrested for bar burglary in Vergas

FERGUS FALLS, Minn. (KVRR-KFGO) – Investigators have made another arrest in a recent burglary at Billy’s Corner Bar & Grill in Vergas, Minnesota.

In March, the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office took a report that a handgun to be given away in a raffle had been stolen.

Deputies arrested 24-year-old Donald Merrill Jr. for burglary and being a felon in possession of a gun.

Merrill’s father, 52-year-old Donald Merrill Sr., has now been arrested.

Both are jailed in Fergus Falls.
