2024 Packathon underway at Great Plains Food Bank
FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – The 2024 Packathon is underway at Great Plains Food Bank, as volunteer groups are helping to give back to their community. Meals are being packaged and will be distrubuted out to those in need across North Dakota and in Clay County across the Red River.
A group of 15 from Merrill Lynch were there bright and early to get a head start on the process. Events like these help them give back to the communities they live in.
“Participated in every year in the Packathon so it means a lot. Great for our team to get together and do an event like this. Great to give back to a charity that does so much for the community.” said Matt Engen, the branch manager for Merrill Lynch for Fargo.
The Packathon continues down at the warehouse on Tuesday as more and more meals are packaged to help those in need.
