Osgood Elementary assistant principal placed on leave, school district investigating

WEST FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – The assistant principal of a West Fargo elementary school is on paid administrative leave.
Osgood Elementary Assistant Principal Joshua Dahl was placed on leave on Tuesday, April 30 pending an internal investigation.
“The situation that led to Mr. Dahl being placed on leave is specific to two learners, whose families are working closely with the district during the investigation,” according to West Fargo School District spokesperson Heather Leas.
“With such a narrow scope of impact, and the fact that the situation is still being investigated, broader communication around this situation was deemed inappropriate at this time.”
An internal email says there is not a criminal component to the investigation.
Leas says it is standard protocol to place staff members on leave while an investigation occurs.
