Unity Medical Center recieves four-star rating

GRAFTON, N.D. (KVRR) — A Grafton healthcare provider is receiving recognition for their excellence in serving their rural community.

Unity Medical Center in Grafton has been awarded a four-star rating by the National Rural Rating System.

The program recognizes excellence in rural healthcare based on patient satisfaction, quality of care, and overall hospital performance.

Unity Medical Center leaders say that the rating reflects the hospital’s success in providing outstanding medical services, despite the challenges faced by rural healthcare facilities.

“They’re taking a lot of pride in Unity Medical Center and the care we provide. We have a dynamic team of physicians, primary care physicians. We’re recruiting specialists to do work out here, so people aren’t having to travel for surgeries and that type thing as much as we can.”

The Unity Medical Center is the only critical access hospital in North Dakota to receive a four star rating.
