Minnesota wins the Walter Cup after beating Boston in the PWHL Finals

BOSTON (KVRR) – A beautiful moment for women’s hockey as Minnesota won the first ever Walter Cup taking the Professional Women’s Hockey League Finals 3-2 over Boston. Minnesota won Game 5 3-0 thanks to their unrelenting pressure on the offensive side of the ice.

They outshot Boston 44 to 17 in a dominant performance. Michela Cava led Minnesota with a goal and an assist.
