Vikings and WR Justin Jefferson Agree to Contract Extension

EAGAN, Minn. (KVRR)–According to multiple NFL Insiders, the Minnesota Vikings and Wide Receiver Justin Jefferson have agreed to a new four-year, $140 million contract extension. The deal includes $110 in guarantees. The deal also includes $88.743 million due at signing. WME Football negotiated and confirmed the deal. All of this according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter,

In 2023, Jefferson played in 10 games. He hauled in 68 catches for 1,074 yards and 5 touchdowns. The year prior in 2022, Jefferson led the NFL in receptions with 128 and yards with 1,809.

The 2022 Offensive Player of the Year, Jefferson has averaged 98.3 receiving yards per game — the most in NFL history for any career span — and his average of 6.5 catches per game is the second highest of any receiver in his first four seasons.

At just 24 years old, Jefferson becomes the highest paid non-QB in NFL History.

The Minnesota Vikings begin mandatory minicamp Tuesday, June 4.
