Fargo teen participating in 67th Distinguished Young Women National Finals

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Fargo teen Hailey Deltener is participating in the 67th Distinguished Young Women National Finals in Mobile, Alabama.

She’s there with 49 other state representatives. They have been there the past two weeks taking part in community activities and preparing for the national scholarship program.

This Saturday, eight finalists will be selected to compete to become the national representative.

Over the three-night event, all 50 teens will compete for a share of over $150,000 dollars in total cash scholarships.

Deltener is a 2024 graduate of West Fargo Sheyenne High School and the daughter of Laura and Josh Deltener.
