FARGO, N.D. (KVRR/KFGO) — A Fargo man arrested after a high-speed chase will serve one year of probation after pleading guilty to fleeing and DUI.

A judge gave Jens Tinjum a suspended sentence of 360 days in jail for fleeing and 30 days for drunken driving.

He was arrested on May 5 after a Cass County deputy clocked him driving 72 in a 25 mile per hour zone.

Tinjum eventually crashed into a parked car.

As part of the plea agreement, the reckless driving charge was dropped and the fleeing charge was reduced from a felony to a misdemeanor.
