HIGHLIGHTS: MSUM Men and Women Defeat Northern State to Begin NSIC Play 1-0.

THE MEN WON 80-50 AND THE WOMEN WON 73-70 IN OVERTIME.

MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR) –Both MSUM basketball programs began their conference schedules Thursday night with a win over Northern State University.

The Men won 80-50 to improve to 6-1 on the season overall. Jacob Jennissen led all scorers posting a double-double of 14 points and 11 rebounds.

The Women won 73-70 in overtime to improve to 3-4 on the season overall. Former Fargo Davies Eagle, freshman, Ashton Safranski led all scorers with 18 points.
