UND football to keep Fruechte as offensive coordinator

GRAND FORKS (KVRR) – New North Dakota Fighting Hawks head coach, Eric Schmidt, announced on Friday that Isaac Fruechte will stay in Grand Forks as the offensive coordinator. Fruechte first joined UND in January this year to be on former head coach Bubba Schweigert’s staff as the OC.

“I’m excited to announce Isaac and his family are staying at UND,” said Coach Schmidt in a press release through UND athletics. “Isaac has consistently produced highly effective offenses and through his leadership has excelled in developing players. I know he will continue to do that here.”

Coach Schmidt continues to round out his coaching staff for the Fighting Hawks.
