Last Parking Lot Sale for Vinyl Giant
The sale was held inside, but retained its name as a homage to the store's original location.

FARGO, N.D. – As Vinyl Giant in downtown Fargo prepares to take the proverbial needle off the LP, devoted customers rushed in for one final sale.
Elbow to elbow scarcely describes how crowded it was inside for the Last Parking Lot Sale. Not only was there a line to pay – but there was a line to even get in the door.
Vinyl Giant made the event a little extra special, bringing in DJ Duster on the ones and twos for some live music. Front Street Taproom also set up a table to supply customers with beverages.
The purveyor of fine records and board games is bidding a sad farewell to the community it’s served for nearly a decade with ever-increasing discounts. This Parking Lot Sale featured many boxes of $2 records, but the sale prices will rise to 75% off in the week before the store’s final closing on February 8.
