FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – Sports card enthusiasts of all ages flocked to a show at the Holiday Inn this Sunday.

The Fargo Card Show kicked off at 10 A.M. with vendors filling the Harvest Hall.

Collectibles of all types were available for sale or trade, from Pokemon cards to even jerseys and sweatshirts.

One independent vendor said it’s clear that everyone there had a great passion for the hobby, and they’re focused on passing that enthusiasm to the next generation.

“I buy, I sell, I trade – I just like to sit and talk cards,” explained Jake Norris, a vendor at the show.

“Younger guys like the kids here, we usually do treat them a little better just because we see ourselves in them, you know. Sometimes I might give ’em a free card.”

If you missed out, don’t worry – the Dakota Card Show is coming to the Veterans Memorial Arena on May 17th and 18th, and that one will have over 150 vendors.
