Rural Langdon, ND Man Accused of Hunting And Harassing Black Bear Before Killing It

CAVALIER CO., N.D. (KVRR/KFGO) — A rural Langdon, North Dakota man is charged with two misdemeanors for shooting and killing a black bear earlier this month.

Cavalier County State’s Attorney’s Office has charged 51-year-old Robert Mackall with hunting or harassing game from a vehicle and unlawful possession of furbearers.

The court complaint says the bear was shot May 9.

The charges are Class B misdemeanors with the possibility of 30 days in jail and a $1,500 fine.
