Moorhead brewers, Enderlin natives raising funds for recovery

MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR) – As the recovery efforts in Enderlin continue after last week’s devastating storms, a pair of Moorhead brewers are making an effort to help out their hometown.

Swing Barrel Brewing will be donating two dollars for every pint sold tonight to the recovery efforts.

The brewery’s own Sean Syverson and Kyle Thilmony are natives of Enderlin, and since announcing the event, they’ve seen a massive outpouring of support for the cause.

They say the devastation may be heart-breaking, but seeing the community come together has given them hope.

“You see all of this damage, and instantly your heart sinks, there’s a sadness to that. But then you see how people come together, how they rally around each other, and that gives that opposite feeling of hope.”

Swing Barrel will have a free show from DJ OnePrettyRicky, along with extra seating provided by Moorhead’s First Presbyterian Church.

Mama G’s Taqueria will also be donating 15% of their sales today, and the brewery will offer a round-up option to keep donations rolling in through July.
