Multi-vehicle crash on I-94 in West Fargo

West Fargo, N.D. (KVRR) — Just after 8 A.M. Tuesday, the North Dakota Highway Patrol responded to a four-vehicle crash on eastbound I-94.
Just before the multi-vehicle crash a separate crash had occured resulting in slow-to-stopped traffic. A Toyota Tundera, Ford Explorer, and Chevy Impala came to a stop due to the traffic, before the driver of a Ford Fusion failed to stop, rear-ending the Chevy Impala and pushing it into the cars ahead.
The passenger of the Impala sustained serious injuries and was taken to Sanford Medical Center.
No one else was injured, and the driver of the Ford Fusion was cited for following to close. The crash remains under investigation.
