Minnesota Atty. Gen. Keith Ellison Announces Reelection run

ST. PAUL, Minn. — Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison has announced his plans to run for reelection.
Ellison posted a campaign video making the announcement on social media Tuesday morning.
In the video, Ellison touts fighting against landlords and the fossil fuel industry, as well as the many lawsuits his office has filed against various actions by President Trump.
The Minnesota DFL released a statement in support of Ellison’s decision to run, saying:
“At a time when half of our country’s politicians ignore problems for their own convenience, Keith Ellison stands out. Every day of the week and twice on Sunday, the people’s lawyer fights to keep our kids safe, our rights intact, and our state shielded from the actions of a reckless president,” said Minnesota DFL Chair Richard Carlbom. “Whether it’s standing up to Big Pharma or taking on violent criminals, Keith has dedicated his time in office to protecting and serving everyday Minnesotans. Under an administration hellbent on making life harder and less affordable, we need a champion for the little guy more than ever — that’s always been Keith.”
Ellison has been serving as Minnesota’s attorney general since his election in 2019. Before that, Ellison was a U.S. Representative for Minnesota.
