Yahoo Sports reporting that NDSU football is closer to postseason eligibility

FARGO (KVRR) – Ross Dellenger of Yahoo Sports is reporting that the NCAA Football Oversight Committee has moved forward with the notion to eliminate the two-year postseason probation period for transitioning FCS programs to the FBS level. If the changes are adopted, this would make North Dakota State bowl eligible in 2026.

The Bison joined the Mountain West conference earlier this year after playing in the Missouri Valley Football Conference.
