FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – The Asian-American community in Fargo-Moorhead, along with those that appreciate the collective Asian culture, gathered Saturday evening at the Fargo Air Museum for a massive event.

The fifth annual Asian Night Market took place from 4 to 9 P.M. on May 30.

Vendors packed the interior of the museum, while food trucks lined the outside, and live performers took turns onstage.

Market organizers say that their ability to showcase various aspects of their culture is what makes the event so special.

“All of us have very different backgrounds, the students, artists, and vendors,” explained Shayna Karuman.

“I think the diversity we bring to our event and all of our willingness to talk about our cultures is what sets it apart.”

The month of May is also Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month.
