Police investigating assault in downtown Fargo

FARGO (KVRR-KFGO) – Police are investigating after an argument led to an assault this Tuesday morning in downtown Fargo.

Around 3:30 a.m., officers were called to the 500 block of Broadway N. They say two males were arguing over some property. The suspect assaulted the victim with a blunt object and left the scene. He has not been found.

A Fargo Police sergeant says information is limited and a description of the suspect is not yet available. The victim’s injuries are not life-threatening.

Sanford Ambulance and Fargo Fire also responded to the scene.
