Juvenile responsible for classroom fire at Horace High

HORACE, N.D. (KVRR) — A structure fire at Horace High School Thursday, is now being investigated as an arson case.

After 10 a.m., Southern Valley Fire & Rescue, West Fargo Fire and Cass County Sheriff’s Office was sent out to the high school for a structure fire.

They found a room and its contents on fire in one of the second floor classrooms.

An investigation by the Cass County Sheriff’s Office and Southern Valley Fire & Rescue determined that a child in the classroom was responsible for the fire.

No injuries were reported.

The Sheriff’s office and Southern Valley Fire & Rescue are continuing to investigate the incident.
