Prayer Service for Kindred Bus Driver Injured in Crash

A prayer service is scheduled for a Kindred bus driver injured in a crash last week.

Cathy Jostad is in the hospital after the school bus she was driving and three semis collided in dense fog at an intersection near Kindred on Friday.

A prayer service will be held tomorrow night at 6:00 at the Kindred bus barn.

A posting on Caringbridge says Cathy is on continuous dialysis due to blood loss and stress on her kidneys.

The post also says contrary to comments made on media/Facebook she has life threatening injuries and only time will tell how this situation will turn out.

It says “Mom did everything right out on the road and in fact her actions protected the children she was driving.”
