Insight support group announcement

Insight, a local support group for persons who are blind and sight impaired in the Fargo area community, will hold its next monthly meeting ON Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 2 P.M in the community room at New Horizons Manor 2525 Broadway N. The guest presenter for this meeting will be Brian Arett, an administrator at Valley Senior Services. Brian will highlight the services that Valley Senior Services offers and who may qualify for them. Anyone who is dealing with a loss of eyesight and/or their family members is welcome & encouraged to attend. For further details please call Allan Peterson at 429-7209.

Parking Lot Safety After Pelican Rapids Accident

An elementary school boy is recovering after a school bus ran over his legs as he got off a bus in Pelican Rapids Wednesday. He tripped and another bus that was coming to park ran over his legs. Most local school have specific parking lot safety guidelines to avoid an accident like this from happening including Oak Grove Lutheran Elementary School.

Short Pursuit On I-29

One man is in custody after a short pursuit on I-29. Saturday night around 7:40, a traffic stop was attempted on a reported stolen vehicle from Devils Lake.

Wanted Man Arrested In Valley City Stop

Site Staff,

A wanted man is arrested after a traffic stop in Valley City. Around 2 o’clock Sunday morning, a Valley City police officer stopped a car for speeding that ended up being a stolen vehicle from Fargo.
