North Dakota House rejects assisted suicide bill
BISMARCK, N.D. (KVRR/KCND) – The North Dakota House has voted against a bill that would have allowed physician-assisted suicide. Fargo Democratic Rep. Pamela Anderson sponsored the bill. Anderson argued that doctor-assisted suicide should be available for patients diagnosed with a terminal illness. The measure failed on a vote of 85 to 9.
