If you bundle up well tonight you can go out and see this year's Leonid meteor shower.

Temperatures will be colder and skies will be cloudier this week.  If you can get a break in the clouds there is much to see in the evening sky.

Clear skies will reveal a thin sliver of moon along with some nearby planets this week.

Venus is at the Greatest Elongation East this week which will make it easy to spot in the night sky.

Nights will be cool this week, but a returning planet and a meteor shower will color the night sky.

Mornings are getting cooler, but this week will stay warm enough to spot some planets.  The Hunter's Moon will be visible Wednesday.

The Draconid meteor shower is arriving this week, but some October rain will make it hard to spot.

Nights this week will be cooler and cloudier which will make it hard to spot planets.

The first week of Fall will have clear, comfortable nights for planet spotting.

The full moon will be easy to see in the coming Autumn sky along with three planets in the evening.

Stars are easy to spot in the middle of the night.  The clear weekend nights will make visibility even better.

Pleasant weather this weekend, especially overnight, will make it easy to spot planets.

Jupiter and the moon will be very easy to spot in the night sky.  Be sure to look on the few clear nights this week.

The Perseid meteor shower is coming this week.  With a crescent moon it should be easy to spot to the northeast.
