Bighorn Sheep Season Likely to Reopen in 2016

Bighorn sheep hunting is likely to return to North Dakota in 2016.

A die–off in 2014 forced state officials to call off bighorn season last year for the first time in more than three decades.

Game and Fish is accepting license applications, but a lottery won’t be held until late summer.

Resident hunters pay a $5 application fee and non-residents must pay a $100, both of which are not refundable if the 2016 season is cancelled.
