Hi there! My name is Tux, and I am a very social gentleman! I love other dogs, and people! Oh do I love people! I just really want to find my new best friend, and a new spot on the couch! I’m a young guy, so I do have some energy, but I do have some manners too, so I’m a pretty fun guy to have around. I am a total sweetheart, and I love to give kisses to anyone who will have them! And I’m no small fry either, I’m a big, leggy guy, that will take up a whole half of the couch if you’ll let me! But I promise I’ll leave you at least one cushion! Come and meet me today!
June came to the rescue from a regional pound after she was picked up with a significant eye injury. As to be expected, her eye was very painful and she did not want to be handled, but we could tell there was a little sweetheart in there somewhere. There were a few road bumps in her recovery, but she is good as new now, and showing more and more of her sweet side every day! After about a week she started approaching for attention. A few days later, she was crawling in my lap when I sat on the floor. Now we are three weeks in and she loves to snuggle belly up on the couch! June is still slow to warm up to strangers, but if they ignore her she won’t bother them. She will find her dog bed and be content to hang out there while company is over. June does need a home with no kids. There are also 2 resident dogs and a cat in the home and June is able to coexist with them. She likes to be the boss and prefers if they don’t get right up in her face, especially the big dog. She wants them to think she’s tough, and then when you aren’t looking, she will go lay down next to them. There hasn’t been a single potty accident in the house and she causes no trouble being left loose in the house during the work day. There is a lot of personality packed into this little dog and it is so much fun to see more of it coming out every day!
June is a 10 year old Chihuahua.
