Gay Marriage Lawsuit On Hold in North Dakota

U.S. District Chief Judge Ralph Erickson has put a lawsuit challenging North Dakota’s ban on same sex marriage on hold.

The federal judge filed an order staying the case brought by seven same sex couples in June.

Erickson says he wants to see what the U.S. Supreme Court decided.

The high court announced last week that it will decide whether same-sex couples have a right to marry everywhere in America under the Constitution.

They are expected to issue their ruling by June.
