Man Arrested for Attempted Murder in Moorhead

Moorhead police have arrested a man for a knife attack.

Brandon Christopher Bush, 29, is being held at the Clay County jail, awaiting Attempted Murder and possible other charges. He has no permanent address.

The victim, 31-year-old Richard Bold, told police he was sleeping at Bush’s ex-girlfriend’s home at 9 King Street in north Moorhead when Bush came inside and started attacking him.

Bold and the woman told police Bush would not let them leave the home for several hours.

When Bush left, Bold went to Sanford and was treated for multiple injuries.

Bush was arrested at the Grand Inn Motel later Thursday morning.

Lt. Tory Jacobson says, “They have a history together there are often times where there’s a lot of information that we aren’t aware of as far as between the two parties, they could be very emotionally charged and it’s evident in this case.”

Bold’s condition is unknown at this time.
