Anderson Wins John Beargrease Marathon

We have a winner in the John Beargrease Marathon.

Musher Ryan Anderson pulled across the finish line just minutes ahead of his friend and three-time champion Nathan Schroeder to win the 2015 dog sled race.

Anderson arrived in Duluth at 2:53 Wednesday morning, 28 minutes ahead of Schroeder.

Anderson won the race in 2011 by beating his friend by just 20 seconds.

Established in 1980, the John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon is billed as the longest sled dog race in the lower 48 states.
